I did not have a magical beginning to my career. In fact, my life was pretty mundane. I was an outcast, a weak student and a fat student, who was continuously ridiculed and mocked by everyone around me. I found myself in a constant turmoil with no one by my side, but I also had a determination to prove everyone wrong. And this one determination was a flickering hope that helped me become who I am today.
Unbeknownst to where my life would take me, I simply joined a personality development institute at
the age of sixteen, not as a student, but as an office boy. I did not have money to enrol, but I could
do everyday cleaning tasks at the institute. Right there, I found my mentor who changed everything
for me. He taught me what my school could not and helped me realise my potential. Within four
years, I was the Director of the same institute.
Being a Director, I considered it my responsibility to help students like me and become the mentor
they never had (just like me). With flying colours, I finished my stint at the institute at the age of
twenty-one to leap forward into the world of Corporate Training.
My untiring efforts led me to become the youngest trainer in India to train students of IIT Madras.
Over the years, I have been associated with giants across the country, trained their individuals, and
also designed modules for them. Some of my major clients include Reliance JIO, Airtel, Audi, BMW,
Maruti Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Havells, Larsen & Toubro, Trident Group, and Flipkart.
Even after achieving massive success and receiving mass appreciation, I never forgot my roots. I was, after all, an office boy who was unsure of his life, and this thought never left my mind. It was this thought that always pushed me to help others in need, and I took a step ahead by creating a World Record for the longest counselling session in the world.
In December 2021,
I counselled 25 individuals for 25 hours without a break. Several people joined the ceremony, with many of them attending from different cities. My efforts were recognised by the World Book of Records, London. For me, the world record was simply an attempt to show up for people when it truly counts, and that’s exactly what Jamvanta did.
I was a fat and insecure teenager. But just as I had started working on myself professionally, I also realised to change my body for a 360-degree change. With rigorous self-discipline, I dropped 32 kgs in six months, reduced my body fat percentage to 17%, and, in turn, also reduced 10 inches from the waist.
The transformation was not just about the body, but it also changed my entire mindset. I was whole, and it was then that I realised the magic of listening to the body and taking care of it. Since then, I have coached hundreds of people to bring the same magic into their lives, not by quick fixes but with sustainable changes.
